Hitachi Cable America (HCA) with its manufacturing facility located in Manchester, NH, USA, is pleased to announce the release of a new fiber optic cable design. The new cable is an armored, indoor/outdoor, plenum-rated cable with 24-strands of tight buffered fiber optic glass. Available with multimode or singlemode glass, the cable is available with a black outer jacket (standard), or an orange or yellow jacket to match the inner cables. The interlock armor is aluminum which adds significant durability and security to the inner cable, without adding significant weight. Since the glass strands are tight buffered, they are ready to accept connectors. The indoor/outdoor plenum rating allows extreme versatility for this cable since it can be used outdoors and in virtually any indoor environment. This versatility eliminates the need to transition to other cable types and additional enclosures, saving time and money.

For more information about this cable, visit HCA’s website or contact HCA directly.
