NanoCore® Micro Distribution Cable

NanoCore® Interconnect Plenum is a plenum-rated micro-distribution cable used as an interconnect or trunk between patch panels and equipment in high-density environments such as data centers, central offices, and larger premise applications where you want a multi-purpose distribution cable that consolidates multiple links into a single compact sheath. 

In these roles, it sits alongside other NanoCore® fiber optic cables, providing a consistent family for short intra-building runs and backbone legs that need to support current and future data rates.

NanoCore® Interconnect Micro Distribution offers 250-micron fiber in a loose-tube design, allowing more fibers per tube in a very small overall diameter, and uses aramid yarns to ensure a lightweight construction suitable for tight plenum spaces and dense hardware rows. Each cable is manufactured in the USA, with Corning as the standard optic fiber supplier, so performance and quality are consistent across the family.

Proterial Cable America’s NanoCore® cables use bend-insensitive optical fibers, and single-mode OS2 can be specified with enhanced bend-insensitive performance that meets ITU-T G.657.B3 and G.657.A2. That higher bend tolerance helps control loss when you route fibers through tight spaces in trays, cabinets, and plenum pathways, giving you more flexibility.
