Standard alloys for micro-coaxial cable

Proprietary alloys such as our high-strength silver-plated copper and tinned-copper alloys provide improved conductivity, tensile strength, heat resistance and greater flexibility. This characteristics help improve the overall life and functionality of the cable.

Traditionally, when trying to obtain certain metallurgical characteristic improvements, be it tensile strength or conductivity, competitive industry standard materials are lower in one category or another.

The Proterial NN standard material (per the chart below) provides both high conductivity and increased tensile strength, while the S-MF-AG material offers a higher performance version with lower overall resistivity.
